I stayed up way too late last night, working on the Mobypic problem with Twitter. It’s resolved today and I was able to make a few Mobypic posts to test it out. You never know when this technology will bite you in the ass.

That maybe some of that thought is behind the recent government moves to regulate the Internet. Unless you were under a rock, I am sure all heard or participated in the SOPA/PIPA Blackout last Wednesday. The message was heard and Congress has back down on this Bill. As could only be thought of as a coincidence, but highly ironic, the G-men shut down the Megaupload file sharing site the next day. Thus began an Anonymous War that saw massive denial of service attacks against several websites, Universal Music, DOJ, FBI, & others. Such attacks cannot help the cause though. It just feeds the fear and gives Congress the righteous dignity to fight back.

Now why would a low level blogger such as myself focus on this instead of filling these pages with raunchy gloryhole sex verbage & pictures? Because these type of fights always have collateral damage. And Blogs like mine will suffer as part of that collateral damage.

I really don’t have the answers. Just want to voice my small bit in this basic bid for Freedom of Speech. The Internet is not the Wild West of Old anymore. Google changed that by reworking their search engines to guide your searches to more commercial results. Also, you must realize that nothing is for free. Torrents, file sharing sites, ect cost money to maintain. You have to peel off a few greenbacks to access these things for the most part. Taking without giving back just leads to nothing being left to share.

It was quite a Soapbox moment today, but I do hope you understand the reason why. I will go back to the good stuff now.

Khadijah Baseer was seen opening customers’ car doors in a McDonald's drive-through on the 1700 block of Olive Avenue late Wednesday night, Officer Joshua Kendrick told the Burbank Leader.

Married police officer sacked for having sex with FIVE women while on duty

A married police officer was sacked for having sex with five women while on duty, it emerged today.
Pc Troy Van-Eda, 44, charmed the women while patrolling the streets, before having sex with them at his police station and their homes, it was claimed.

The video above discusses the Senate version of the House's Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA). In the Senate the bill is called the PROTECT IP Act (PIPA). SOPA has gotten more attention than PIPA because it was moving faster in the legislative process. But PIPA is just as dangerous, and now it is moving faster.
PIPA would give the government new powers to block Americans' access websites that corporations don't like. The bill lets corporations and the US government censor entire websites and cut sites off from advertising, payments and donations.

If you have been following my Twitter feed, you know of my blackout from the World Wide Web this week. It was such a bummer not being able to post or even surf the web from the MV Lair. AT&T was decent in their response and had to wait for a board shipped in. The problem was out in the Big Junction Box that feeds the neighborhood.

That meant the entire area was dark also. I am glad that bit of drama is done now! Unfortunately, this also proves to be the high point of the week. Whereas the first week of January was a saddle sore event, this past week was nothing but stupid Work crap & MV Lair darkness. We had a major Snow Storm which dumped 1 & 1/2 inches of snow. Not much really, but the Arch City crowds freaked! Lots of canceled events, cruddy roads, & bumper car antics. It was not a good day to be out & about.

Zimmetro — A woman whose married lover lied to her that he was single is claiming US$2 000 in what she calls seductive damages. Eustina Marikiti has taken former boyfriend Moses Crater to the Harare Civil Courts seeking damages.

“I want US$2000 as seductive damages because I was in a relationship and we used to be intimate. He didn’t tell me the truth that he was a married man,” said Eustina.

Pastor’s detailed book on sex divides reviewers, sparks controversy

Washington (CNN) - Mark Driscoll, the pastor of a megachurch in the Seattle area, understands the uniqueness of a man in his profession coauthoring a book about sex with his wife. From the chapter on biblical approval of detailed types of sex to the chapter titled “Selfish Lovers and Servant Lovers,” the book is far from a timid look at a usually private subject.

And that has struck a nerve with a large swath of believers whose reactions have propelled the book to a trending topic on Twitter and has elicited responses that range from praise to disgust.

“Real Marriage: The Truth about Sex, Friendship and Life Together” released on Tuesday. The book was written by Driscoll and his wife, Grace, to, in Mark’s words, “compel married couples to have important conversations about important things.”

In the first half of the book, the Driscolls discuss their own sexual issues using the lessons they learned to discuss how to reignite a marriage whose flame may have gone out. The book’s second half, which is getting most of the negative attention, discusses sex in detail.

In response, religious scholars and writers have blasted the Driscolls’ work on a number of grounds ranging from the logistical to the biblical.

Brazilian councillor proposes law demanding brides wear underwear when they marry

A Brazilian councillor has proposed a law to force brides to wear knickers at the altar.
Ozias Zizi claims that a growing number of women in his south-eastern town of Vila Velha are turning up to church with nothing on underneath their wedding dresses. The superstitious brides believe it will make their marriages last longer, he explained.
He said: 'There are a lot of women who believe that if they get married without wearing knickers this helps secure their nuptials for longer. Hard to enforce: Critics said it would be absurd to try and police a bill ensuring brides wore knickers

To reflected what has occurred and what may yet come about. Given the fast pace that the world runs at, I would highly recommend a moment’s pause to remember. Looking Back at…

2011 was a turbulent year for me.   The Job took a turn down the Twilight Zone neighborhood. Weird corporate reimaging and cultural studies leaving us wondering what’s up. My Department is being readied for yet another re-organization. Hell, I am not sure how well I will float to the top of this tempest. Financials are doing ok for the most part. Economic outlook is not as bleak, but money is still tight. Family issues were the big focus in 2011.

110 posts exceeds previous benchmark of how many posts in a year for this Blog.   The visiting Hedonists counter is about to surge past 205,000 visitors. All in all, a decent year for the Blog.

Andrea Marie Truden moved to New York City as a teenager, to seek fame as a mainstream film star. While she did manage to get some minor roles in mainstream movies, including The Way We Were, the fame she sought was fleeting. Vickers was born Yvette Vedder in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of jazz musician Charles Vedder. During her youth she traveled with her parents on the road. Swingers club in Seffner neighborhood shut down by sheriff's detectives

SEFFNER — Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives say they shut down a swingers club in a Seffner rental house Friday and arrested four people. Complaints from neighbors about the home at 11326 Brightridge Drive kicked off a six-week investigation by sheriff's detectives and agents from the state Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco.

Neighbors said cars would turn up their dead-end street on weekend evenings and head directly for the very end, pulling into the 150-foot driveway lit with tiki torches behind the white picket fence and gate. Inside, detectives found three bedrooms lined wall to wall with beds. The living room was equipped with a dancing pole, a spanking table and large-screen televisions playing pornographic movies. Steven Bowers, 56, and his wife, Cynthia Bowers, 55, both of St. Petersburg were the owners and operators of the swingers club, deputies said.

They were leasing the home. Ricky Zabala, 55, and his wife, Pamela Zabala, 54, of Orlando assisted with the club when the Bowers were away, according to investigators. All four have been charged with operating a sexually oriented business without a license, a county ordinance violation, and operating a bottle club without proper zoning and licensing, a second-degree misdemeanor. Each charge carries up to 60 days in jail and a $500 fine. All four were released from jail Saturday.

The business operated Wednesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. until the early morning hours, deputies said. During business hours, detectives witnessed various numbers of people inside the house and saw as many as 50 people inside at one time.
Couples were allowed into the club free, deputies said, and single men and women were charged various fees to enter. Anyone entering was allowed to bring their own bottle of alcohol and could share with others, deputies said.

Woman's Breast Implant 'Swallowed' by Her Body During Pilates

Even though the couple was arrested in April 2011 after the boy told his mother of the affair in March, the case is back in the headlines as Gay was just arrested again for contacting the victim, which is a violation of a restraining order.

Because she called and texted the boy, whose identity remains undisclosed, several times over the past few weeks, she was arrested and charged with a misdemeanour parole violation.

O.C. hockey mom charged with having sex with teen players

An Orange County hockey mother has surrendered herself in connection with charges of sexually assaulting two teenage boys.
Kathia Maria Davis, 44, a divorced mother of three, is accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy and having unlawful sex with a 16-year-old boy on her son's hockey team, prosecutors say. She is accused of plying them with alcohol and throwing parties, according to prosecutors. Both victims were associated with the Beach City Lightning, which plays in Anaheim and Laguna Niguel. Davis is due in court Friday.
She is charged with having sex with the boy four times at her home in her bedroom between July 1, 2010, and July 31, 2011, prosecutors say. Prosecutors alleged that on some of those occasions, two of her children were present in the house.

Woman refuses to put on clothes after caught having sex at intersection

NICEVILLE — A 32-year-old woman was arrested on charges of indecent exposure.
According to the Niceville Police report, the woman parked her 1998 Mitsubishi SUV at the intersection of Cadillac Avenue and Martha Street to have sex with her boyfriend.
A woman near the intersection told officers she saw the man and woman, both nude, walk out of the vehicle.
When officers arrived, the couple was instructed to put their clothes back on, but the woman refused.

Zimmetro — A woman whose married lover lied to her that he was single is claiming US$2 000 in what she calls seductive damages. Eustina Marikiti has taken former boyfriend Moses Crater to the Harare Civil Courts seeking damages.
